What « Skyward» lacked especially in the end, « Starsight» gave plenty of right at the beginning of the book. (there are still many secrets Brandon Sanderson hasn’t revealed yet!). Now that he mentioned it, I see what he means, but while reading it didn’t really bother me and I only felt excited to finally learn more about this world.
Jack JacksBedTimeReading in his review of « Starsight» (that you definitely should check out as well) was saying how it was very convenient for the plot development to have M-bot being able to access the database and basically laying down all the information humans lost many years ago or never had access to in the first place. Not everything in this second installment worked for me and there were a few things that threw me off, but overall I highly recommend this series, and can’t wait for the release of the next book that is foreseen of 2021!ġ – We got answers to my biggest questions very early in the second book.
Remember me saying in my review of « Skyward» that I wasn’t sure if I liked Spensa? Well… guess what, she completely stole my heart, and while I don’t want to be like her, I would love to have her as my best friend. « Starsight» was a great continuation of the events that took place on Detritus and also the development of Spensa’s characters.
